Who installs and repairs gas lines in Greenville, SC?

Ethical Plumbing installs new gas lines, repairs leaking or damaged gas lines, and hooks up gas appliances such as ranges, dryers, water heaters, tankless units, fireplaces and grills across the Upstate. We do not repair the appliances themselves. Call 864-438-0525.

Gas line work done right the first time

Gas line installation is not a job to guess at. The line has to be sized for every appliance it feeds, run with the right materials, fitted with shutoff valves and sediment traps, and pressure tested before the gas is turned on. An undersized line is one of the most common reasons a new tankless water heater throws error codes or runs out of heat.

Ethical Plumbing runs new gas lines for appliances and outdoor living, repairs leaks and damaged lines, and connects gas appliances safely. We size the line for what you have now and what you are likely to add, and tell you the price in writing before work starts.

Gas line FAQs

Do you install new gas lines?

Yes. We run new gas lines for ranges, dryers, water heaters, tankless units, fireplaces, grills, fire pits and outdoor kitchens.

Do you repair gas appliances?

No. We install and repair gas lines and hook up gas appliances, but repairs to the appliance itself go to the manufacturer or an appliance technician.

What should I do if I smell gas?

Leave the house, do not use switches or flames, and call your gas company or 911 from outside. Call us to repair the line once it is safe.

Can I switch from an electric range to gas?

Yes, if gas service is available at your home. We run a line to the range location and install a shutoff valve behind it.

Why does my tankless water heater need a bigger gas line?

Tankless units burn much more gas at once than a tank heater. An undersized line starves the unit and causes error codes.

Do you pressure test new gas lines?

Yes. Every new or repaired line is pressure tested and checked for leaks before the gas is turned on.

How much does gas line installation cost?

It depends on the length of the run, the line size and the route. You get a written price before any work starts.

Do you install gas lines for outdoor kitchens and fire pits?

Yes. We run gas lines to outdoor kitchens, grills, fire pits and patio heaters.
