What is hydro-jetting?
Hydro-jetting sends water at very high pressure through a drain or sewer line, scrubbing grease, scale, sludge and roots off the full pipe wall. Why jetting works when snaking does not
A drain cable, or snake, bores a hole through a clog so water can flow again. That fixes the immediate problem, but the grease or scale lining the pipe stays behind, and the next clog starts forming right away.
Hydro-jetting cleans the pipe back to its full diameter. A nozzle with forward and rear-facing jets pulls itself down the line, cutting through blockages and scrubbing the walls as it goes. For grease-heavy kitchen lines, root intrusion and scaled cast iron, it is often the difference between calling a plumber every few months and not thinking about the drain for years.

Is hydro-jetting safe for my pipes?
For pipe in sound condition, yes. That is why we inspect with a camera first and adjust pressure to the pipe material.
How much does hydro-jetting cost?
It depends on the line, access and how heavy the buildup is. You get a written price before work starts.
How long do results last?
Much longer than snaking, because the pipe wall is cleaned. Roots will eventually return through an open joint unless it is repaired.
Can hydro-jetting remove tree roots?
Yes. Jetting cuts roots out of the line. A repair at the joint where they entered is the long-term fix.
Do I need a cleanout for hydro-jetting?
A cleanout is the best access point. If your home does not have one, we can install one.
