Call for water being seen around crawlspace. Technicians observed water built up about 4" around sump pump basin. After taking lid off basin, pump was repositioned and pump was activated. Issue was float not being activated by improper position of pump. Pump was reposition and tested again with pump performing properly. A few more holes were also drilled in basin. Rest of crawlspace was completely dry No charge to customer.

I was very satisfied with the overall experience, with one exception. Scott was totally professional and personable during his visit. There was one thing that could have gone better but didn’t through no fault of his. He showed me a rotary cutting bit and offered to run it down the pipe to cut the root. The screw head on the device was so stripped out that he could not install the cutting bit. I really wanted him to do that, even if he had to come back. That might really help us. This is the one issue that keeps me from giving a 5 star review. It was not his fault that the equipment was somewhat defective. I would still like to have that device run down the pipe since I paid for the service. If Ethical Plumbing would return and do that for us, I’d change the review to 5 stars.
