I was very satisfied with the overall experience, with one exception. Scott was totally professional and personable during his visit. There was one thing that could have gone better but didn’t through no fault of his. He showed me a rotary cutting bit and offered to run it down the pipe to cut the root. The screw head on the device was so stripped out that he could not install the cutting bit. I really wanted him to do that, even if he had to come back. That might really help us. This is the one issue that keeps me from giving a 5 star review. It was not his fault that the equipment was somewhat defective. I would still like to have that device run down the pipe since I paid for the service. If Ethical Plumbing would return and do that for us, I’d change the review to 5 stars.

We’d had no hot water for 4 days! Ethical Plumbing was willing to come out; they sent Nick, an excellent plumber, and his team. They diagnosed the problem—the root cause, and all the smaller, less noticeable issues that contributed to it— things which many plumbers would have let go. He gave us choices, outlined them well with their respective costs, as well as the timeline involved. Nick was extremely thorough! They did a great job, and the finished product is very neat, attractive, and should last a long time. I do not think I have ever met such a thorough, detail oriented plumber. Especially with an older house, seeing the “big picture” is often necessary, as it was in our case. All three of the men were polite, kind, and very neat. They worked efficiently, but did not rush and make mistakes. Nick was the most thorough, professional plumber I have ever met.
