tech provided estimates for a new gas tank water heater. Customer has a 50 gallon tall water heater. Tech measured the stand that it is sitting on and it will only fit a tank water heater that has a 20" jacket diameter. Tech provided options for a 40 gallon tank heater with a tank booster to maximize the capacity of the 40 gallon water heater.
install new wide spread brush nickel lav faucet in master bath. install silicone under faucet and handles.Tech inspected facuet and the hose that goes through the body of the faucet was damaged.Attempt to repair kitchen faucet by tightening the packing nut for the cartridge. if that does not repair it, we will have to replace.if the angle stops dont work, then we will have to charge to replace themone year warranty on new lav faucet install.

tech inspected water heater that was previously installed by another person.- Tech tested gas line to inspect for gas leaks using bubble check solution. there were two visible gas leaks that were bubbling after spraying the gas line.- vent connections were not secured by three screws every joint- The water connections were sharkbite connections that pulled off the hot water pipe that caused a major leak.- there was no thermal expansion tank installed. this is important to protect the water heater and the plumbing system from thermal expansion from the water heating up. This can cause added pressure in the system.- The water pressure was 140 psi. The max pressure allowed for water fixtures is 80 psi. The pressure regulator only allows up to 75 psi to enter the home. If the pressure in the home exceeds 75 psi, then a new pressure regulator must be installed to protect the water system. Too much water pressure in the home can void manufacturer warranties.- The gas shut off
